Fun with Friends

(Today's Blogger: Maria) On Wednesday, we went to the Youssef’s again. We all really enjoy being with them. We got there in the late afternoon and hung out for a bit and then Fr. Samer made shish kabobs for dinner. On Thursday Dimitry went to school and Aunt Juliana took Damian and Dominic to swimming class while we caught up on school work. When they came back for a bit before leaving for gymnastics and when they left I went with them. After their classes we went to pick up Dimitry from school. We hung out all afternoon and then Aunt Juliana gave Dad, Joshua and me haircuts. Right before we went to bed we watched a slideshow of our pictures from Yosemite. The next day we did some more school work in the morning. In the afternoon after Damian and Dominic went to afternoon preschool Dad took me, Elena, Joshua and Dimitry to see “How to Train Your Dragon. When we got back, we said goodbye and left.

Once we left, we headed back to the Hannas. We had great steak and lobster dinner while we kids watched “School of Rock.” It was a really funny movie. When we finished the movie the kids had a sleepover in the trailer while the adults slept inside the house. When we got up in the morning to go inside the house we discovered that we couldn’t open the door! We had bolted the door the night before and sometimes you have to jiggle or lift the door and we couldn’t. So we sent Joshua out of the emergency escape window to go get dad to help get us out. We had a great time during our stay and will miss our new friends.
